QUALITY TRANSCRIPTS – TIPS FOR 2016

It is important to have quality transcripts prepared of recorded statements.

1. An investigator or claims representative should review the sound recording and the transcript for accuracy.
2. If the transcript is not accurate it is imperative that it be corrected.
3. We also recommend providing the recording with the transcript to representatives of the witness.

A strong recorded statement and a correct transcript can be very useful in the investigation and litigation of any case.
