Alternative Dispute Resolution

Mediation, Arbitration & Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

Our Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) practice group specializes in the mediation and arbitration of Employment, Commercial, Contract, Family, Environmental, Insurance Coverage and Consumer Fraud cases. We represent both claimants and respondents and have extensive experience arbitrating litigated and non-litigated claims. Our attorneys regularly serve as arbitrators for the courts. Our firm includes attorneys that have been certified by the Superior Court as Rule 1:40 mediators.

In some cases, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods such as mediation and arbitration provide the best means for addressing the needs of our clients. Through ADR, parties are often able to avoid the time and expense of litigating their disputes in the courts. They can appoint mediators or arbitrators with particular knowledge or expertise in the area in dispute. They can control the scheduling of their case and maintain privacy and confidentiality.

The advantages of ADR include:

  • Reduced Cost
  • Efficiency
  • Control over Scheduling
  • Privacy and Confidentiality
  • Control over the outcome
  • Reduced anxiety and stress
  • Elimination of protracted courtroom battles
  • Experienced Mediators and Arbitrators
